Da Perugia ci comunicano assidui lettori di questo blog (plurale maestatis) che una delle caratteristiche più apprezzate sembra essere l’ecletticità furibonda nell’accostamento degli argomenti.
Eccone allora un esempi:, in assenza di tante immagini riferibili ai FILM PER UN MONDO (argomento del post, partecipate compatti!) mescoliamo al testo qualche immagine e un video su una collezione di romanzi di fantascienza, compresi forse i primi, dove il termine science fiction salì alla ribalta.
Inutile sottolineare che i due argomenti non hanno niente a che spartire fra di loro.
Ma (magari) chi è interessato solo a uno dei due potrebbe essere colpito dall’altro. Nessuno si scandalizzi per gli accostamenti.
In due lingue, tedesco e inglese, questa imminente iniziativa cinematografica.

Wir Filmemacherinnen, die diesen Filmabend organisieren, sind entsetzt über das massenhafte Sterben der Flüchtlinge an den europäischen Außengrenzen. Menschen ertrinken im Mittelmeer, verbluten an den Grenzzäunen von Ceuta und Melilla und erfrieren auf der Balkanroute – mitverantwortlich dafür europäische Politik der Abschottung.
Wir sind Zuschauer eines der größten Verbrechen der europäischen Nachkriegsgeschichte. Doch wir wollen nicht wegschauen.
Der Filmabend unterstützt SOS MEDITERRANEE, eine europäische Organisation zur Rettung Schiffbrüchiger im Mittelmeer. Ihr Einsatz ist unentbehrlich – nach wie vor. Über 8.000 Menschen konnten sie bereits vor dem Ertrinken retten. Eure Spenden machen ihre Arbeit möglich. Vier Euro von jeder Eintrittskarte gehen an SOS MEDITERRANEE – ein Tropfen auf den heißen Stein.
Deshalb bitten wir Euch auch den mitgebrachten Spendentopf für SOS MEDITERRANEE zu füllen – auf das er überquelle. Ansprechpartnerinnen der Organisation werden da sein.

Die Organisatorinnen
Die Regisseurinnen Lucia Vannucchi (Instituto del Cine Madrid und Internationale Filmhochschule in San Antonio de los Baños, La Habana, Cuba) und Bianca Bodau (Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF) initiierten und kuratierten diesen Filmabend, in der Hoffnung, dass die Studenten und Studentinnen der Filmhochschulen ihre Verwandten, Freunde und Bekannten, Mäzenen und Groupies ins Kino locken, um einen wundervollen Abend zu verbringen und die außergewöhnliche Arbeit von SOS MEDITERRANEE mit ihren Spenden zu unterstützen.

We, filmmakers who organize this film evening, are horrified at the massive loss of refugees’ lives at Europe’s external borders. People drown in the Mediterranean Sea, bleed to death while attempting to cross the border fences of Ceuta and Melilla and succumb to freezing temperatures on the Balkan route -. The European policy of sealing external borders has a share in the responsibiliy for this tragedy.
We are spectators of one of the biggest crimes in European post-war history. But we do not wish to turn a blind eye.
The film evening is organized in support of SOS MEDITERRANEE e.V., a European organization with a mission to rescue people in the Mediterranean Sea. Its commitment continues to be indispensable. Thanks to the efforts of this organization, more than 8,000 people have been saved from drowning.
Your donations allow for this vital work to continue. Four euros from each entry ticket go to SOS MEDITERRANEE – literally a drop in the ocean.
Therefore, in addition, we ask you to generously contribute to the fundraiser for SOS MEDITERRANEE e.V. – In order to facilitate donations, representatives of the organization will be attending the event.

Directors Lucia Vannucchi (Instituto del Cine de Madrid and the International Film and TV School of San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba) and Bianca Bodau (Film Academy Babelsberg Konrad Wolf) initiated and curated this film evening, in the hope that the students of the film academies will invite their relatives, friends and acquaintances, patrons and groupies to the cinema, to spend a wonderful evening together and support the extraordinary work of SOS Mediteranee with their donations.
