Siamo ai post estivi, frivoli, eterei, non necessariamente specifici (oddio), ma si spera egualmente simpatici.

Il mostruoso abbigliamento dell’animaletto, in grado di suscitare le vibrazioni più contrastanti nella platea dei visitors, è solo l’adescamento per stimolare la lettura e la visione di quanto vi propongo oggi, in attesa di impostare un discorso che si spera proficuo sui premi elargiti in Italia e sul loro significato. Il tutto, prendendo a pretesto il recentissimo tributo rivolto all’amziano Del Connell (1918), finalmente riportato alla ribalta, pur effimera, del comicdom internazionale.

Ecco una sua sintetica biografia, tratta dalle pagine della San Diego Comic-Con 2011.

Del Connell began working as an artist at Disney Studios in 1939 and soon segued into the story department.

He contributed to many shorts and features, including The Three Caballeros and Alice in Wonderland.

He began writing Dell Comics for Western Publishing Company as a freelancer in 1950 and joined its editorial staff in 1954, though he continued to be the firm’s most prolific writer.

Among the many comics he originated were Super Goof, Wacky Witch, The Close Shaves of Pauline Peril and Space Family Robinson, which was adapted into the popular TV series Lost in Space.

He eventually became editor-in-chief of the West Coast office of Western Publishing’s comic book division until it ceased activity in 1987. For over twenty years, he also wrote both the daily and Sunday editions of the Mickey Mouse newspaper strip. Del, at age 94, will be on hand to accept his award.

The Bill Finger Award honors the memory of William Finger (1914–1974), who was the first and, some say, most important writer of Batman. Many have called him the “unsung hero” of the character and have hailed his work not only on that iconic figure but on dozens of others, primarily for DC Comics.

La cagnolina in tulle appartiene a una ragazza di origine messicana che contrappone la zuccherosità degli animaletti in rosa alla proposta brutalona del sé, non del tutto rilevabile dalla foto.

Dal vero, la scenetta è meglio.

Già, perché al fianco di Laca ci sono io, che gli chiedo di mirare bene quest’obiettivo.

Per visionare questa rassegna di rosei felini daio lineamenti sfuggenti potrebbe essere di qualche giovamento il tappeto musicale fornito dal video sul tema che sotto Kelly Hilton interpreta a modino, con pacata eleganza.

Alcune mostruosità legate alla gattina dai lineamenti approssimativi, ma che tanto ha influenzato la grafica di “babacci” degli ultimi anni.

Un fucile di Hello Kitty, perfettamente funzionante, forse non autorizzato, ma non abbiamo trovato informazioni sufficiente ad affermarlo o a negarlo.

… è consigliabile CLICCARE BENE sull’immagine e ingrandirla per avere una sorpresa, mentre si scorre sulla foto seguente: un chiosco di kebab, necci con ricotta, pancakes e frittelle, nonché polpettine unte fritte, tutto rigorosamente a forma di Hello Kitty.

Sicuramente, da qualche parte, ci sarà anche un gattino dormiente che ha appena finito di giocare con la sua simile stilizzata (in verità il sensio di questa foto nel blog è esclusivamente quello di increnemtare le visite, poiché sembra che migliaia di visitatori consutino la rete solo per squittire ghignando quando si imbattono in immagini di teneri felini).

La sorpresa è che la tipa dell’immagine sopra, ingrandendo il dettaglio, risulta inesistente. E’ solo il frutto della fantasia di un abile pittore iperrealista.

Tratta di un dipinto a olio di tal Natalia Fabia, dal titolo “I heart Hello Kitty!”. venduto a $ 7,000. Secondo me nemmeno troppo.
